Rector, Nigeria – Korea Friendship Institute, Mr. Charles Toyin Williams has hailed
Governor Yahaya Bello over his recent recognition and award for Security Management
at the Nigeria Excellence Award in Public Service by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mr. Williams who made this known in a press statement on Friday noted that the Governor’s
leadership acumen and achievements in the state was beginning to gain deserving recognition
and accolades.
He noted that the Governor has proven himself as an expert in security management in the period
of his leadership and his political will to combat crimes and criminality head on has turned the tide
of the confluence state in many regards.
The Rector alluded that with the strong security architecture governor Bello has built in Kogi state,
issues of consistent, life threatening and frustrating security challenges which were rampant
before now had since become history.
While hailing the Federal government for giving such a deserving recognition to a deserving
recipient he noted that many other state executive must make efforts in ensuring they learn from
GYB’s template in a bid to replicate similar success.
